Ny postdoc - Mads Fuglsang Hove
My name is Mads Hove. I am a new RA/Postdoc on Troels’ polarization project and will be part of the political behavior section. I have just handed in my dissertation at the University of Amsterdam (ASCoR) about political campaigns’ use of online political microtargeting on Facebook and Instagram. So far, my research has focused on how political candidates and parties perceive voters through the lens of available targeting options on social media, affecting how campaigns strategically communicate to voters. The plan is to continue focusing on political behavior on social media and social data science methods and maybe run a field experiment. These are all topics I love to discuss, so feel free to break any ice with those (for instance, in my office, 1340-135).
Besides work, I enjoy playing chess, swimming in cold water, and skiing. I am also one of the very few who prefer days with more than 14 dark hours, rain, and temperatures below 5 degrees.
