Ny ph.d.-studerende: Emma Kjær Hargraves
My name is Emma and I started as a PhD student here at the department September 1st. You may have seen me around here before, as I have been working in the Leadership Center until now. Luckily, I will be continuing in the Leadership Center, but with a new role as I begin my PhD journey.
My project will focus on climate initiatives in local municipalities, more specifically how public organizations lead and manage green transition. One of the things I’m interested in, is the effect of using carbon accounting systems on climate initiatives, learning and potential unintended effects. I am fortunate to have a strong team of supervisors, Mads Leth Jakobsen and Søren Serritzlew, to help me along the way. I will continue to be a part of the public administration section.
When I am not working, I spend my time renovating me and my husband’s house in Vejlby-Risskov, which takes up a (disproportional) large amount of time. Beside renovating, I dabble in ceramics and spend time with my kids.
You are most welcome to drop by my office (1340-336) for a chat about anything related to climate or advice on what not to do when renovating!
