Ny postdocstipendiat

Hi everyone!

My name is Marc-Antoine and I will be joining Aarhus University as a Postdoctoral Fellow starting from October. I am from Quebec, where I pursued my PhD in political science at the University of Montreal.

My postdoctoral project will focus on issue competition among political parties across democracies like France, Denmark, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada. I am interested in understanding how factors such as media coverage, voters’ concerns, and socioeconomic indicators influence parties’ agenda during election campaigns. In my recent research, I have relied mostly on automated textual data analysis.

This is my first time in Denmark, so when I am not working, I will be exploring around. I enjoy folk music, chess, and the outdoors. I speak French and English, and I am still learning Danish.
