The department provides a framework for various formats of feedback and discussion on research projects and working papers. There are three main formats:
Sections: All employees are members of a section that organizes both teaching and presentations of research work for feedback.
Standing Workshops: These are thematic workshops voluntarily organized by researchers with common interests. Some workshops also host guests who present their work to the departmental staff. Typically, discussions evolve around an oral presentation rather than a paper. All employees are welcome to participate in or organize standing workshops.
Ad hoc workshops: These are organized by employees in connection with specific research projects, PhD defenses, or visiting researchers. Invitations are sent via email to all researchers (vip.ps@list.au.dk). Participation may be limited due to economic and/or logistical reasons, which will be communicated by the workshop organizers.
