AUFF Nova grants 2024
Daniel Finke, David Andersen, Roman Senninger and Svend-Erik Skaaning from the Department of Political Science are among the recipients.
A total of 13 projects at Aarhus BSS have been awarded AUFF Nova grants in this round. Aarhus University Research Fund distributes the Nova grants to "stimulate courageous and innovative research projects of high quality".
The grants are distributed between Aarhus BSS' departments as follows:
Department of Economics and Business Economics:
- Jonas Maibom receives DKK 720,000 for the project “Unemployment Insurance: challenges and measures”.
- Bastian Schulz receives DKK 720,000 for the project “Household Time Allocations, Marital Stability, and the Role of the Firm”.
- Hongyan Li receives DKK 720,000 for the project “Big-Data Driven Inventory Control: From Mean Regression to Distributional Regression”.
- Jackie M.L. Chan receives DKK 719,446 for the project “Global Value Chains in the Modern Economy”.
- Allan Würtz receives DKK 307,800 for the project “CO2-coin”.
Department of Political Science:
- Daniel Finke receives DKK 719,961 for the project “Decoding Diplomatic Language: Identifying and Controlling Semantic Differences”.
- David Andersen receives DKK 706,270 for the project” Plights of Patrimonialism (PLIPAT)”.
- Roman Senninger receives DKK 600,000 for the project “Citizens’ Responses to International Benchmarking Cues (CRIB-Cues)”.
- Svend-Erik Skaaning receives DKK 564,000 for the project “Democratization, Autocratization, and Public Goods Provision”.

- Anne O. Peschel receives DKK 719,424 for the project “Measuring perceived inclusion as success criterion”.
- Christiane Marie Høvring receives DKK 713,280 for the project “Corporate Digital Responsibility: Balancing Economic and Ethical Goals in the Digital Economy”.
- Susanne Pedersen receives DKK 404,256 for the project ““Wait, don’t spend your money on this!” The impacts of #deinfluencing content on social media”.
Department of Psychology and Behavioural Sciences:
- Trine Sonne receives DKK 636,000 for the project ”En ny tilgang til undersøgelsen af digitale afbrydelser i hverdagen”.
