Alexander Bjerremann Petersen receives The HM Queen Margrethe II travel grant
A travel grant from The Queen sends Master's student in political science Alexander Bjerremann Petersen to University College London, where he will have the opportunity to specialise in political economy and public policy.

Alexander Bjerremann Petersen is interested in political theory and has completed a programme in economic and political theory and political philosophy at CEPOS Academy – an independent think tank with a classical liberal, free-market ideological basis. He teaches political theory to his fellow students and has also worked as a tutor for first-year students.
The HM Queen Margrethe II travel grant will enable him to study at University College London, where he will have the opportunity to specialise in subjects within political economy and public policy. Here he will also be able to explore game theory in more detail – an analytical method for understanding how political actors make decisions in situations where their choices depend on the actions of others. Game theory was also the subject of Alexander’s Bachelor’s project, in which he examined the connection between the size of the welfare state and social trust.
The travel grant will be awarded at Aarhus University's annual celebration on 12 September 2025.
