Thursday, March 19, Ali Alfoneh will be visiting the department. Ali is a Senior Fellow at the Arab Gulf States Institute, Washington DC (AGSIW). He has followed Iranian politics for the last two decades and is among the leading international experts on the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
During his visit on Thursday, there will be two events:
- 15:00-16:00: An informal meeting for the IR section and others interested from the department, where Ali will share his views on the current situation in the Persian Gulf. This will take place in ‘Lille Mødelokale’ (1330-124).
- 16:15-18:00: A public talk for our students on the causes and consequences of the ongoing Iran-US/Israel conflict, co-organised with GloPol in Aud A1.
Please note that the public talk is already fully booked, but you are most welcome to take part in the informal meeting.
