On Tuesday, 22 September, we are organising a half-day conference on the challenge of “Algorithmic bias” together with the Danish Data Ethics Council and the Algorithms, Data and Democracy (ADD) Project.

We will explore how we address algorithmic bias: through new legislation? New technology? Or by making better use of the tools and regulations we already have?

• Practice-based presentations on experiences addressing algorithmic bias from the Danish Police, Novo Nordisk, and ATP
• Panel debate on how society should address algorithmic bias, featuring representatives from the Danish Data Ethics Council, Danish researchers, and politicians
