Brown-bag session about young academics’ fierce job situation
Current working conditions and academic culture create a lot of uncertainty and pressure for young academics. A group of researchers has studied the Danish situation and will present their results and discuss the situation.

Workshop on State-Building and Regime Change in Historical Perspective
The workshop gathers political scientists with a historical interests in state-building and regime change, who will meet to comment on preliminary papers on issues such as comparative-historical methodology, how to measure state capacity historically, and developments in respect for civil liberties and constellations of regime supportive groups between 1789 and 1920.

Workshop on grounded theory
In this workshop you will be introduced to the basics of Kathy Charmaz’s version of grounded theory. Also, she will introduce grounded theory interviewing and coding techniques, and give small exercises. The workshop is arranged in collaboration with Dept. of Management and Dept. of Public Health.
