My name is Emily Tangsgaard Christensen, and I am a PhD fellow at the Crown Prince Frederik Center for Public Leadership, Department of Political Science. I hold a master’s degree in political science from University of Copenhagen, where I graduated in February of 2018. Prior to becoming a PhD fellow, I worked as head of section at the Ministry of Health.

Academically, I have a great interest in public organisations, management and leadership and street-level bureaucrats. In my PhD project, I will be conducting research on risk management in the public sector. The aim of the project is to analyse risk management in the public sector and the impact it has on the behaviour of street‐level bureaucrats. Anne Mette Kjeldsen and Søren Serritzlew are supervising the project.

My office is in building 1340, room 336. I look forward to meeting you all.
