New postdoc: Kristof van Criekingen

Kristof van Criekingen started as a postdoc at the Danish Center for Studies in Research and Research Policy (CFA).

Kristof obtained his PhD at the KU Leuven in Belgium at the department of management, strategy and innovation (MSI). There he worked at the center of expertise for R&D monitoring (ECOOM), where he was involved in conducting innovation surveys. Kristof obtained a degree in commercial engineering at KU Leuven and further obtained, from the same university, an advanced master’s degree in industrial management and a research master in advanced business studies. 

His research interests are situated in the field of economics of innovation and center around the connection between firm level innovation and IPRs. At the CFA he will be involved in projects focusing on business region economics and measurement of intangibles.
