Make the staff portal your starting page

The staff portal is your entry point to information at AU. Follow the instructions below to make it your starting page.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the three grey, horizontal lines in the upper right corner
  2. Click “Options”
  3. Enter the address ps.medarbejdere.au.dk in the blank text field 'Home page'
  4. Click OK

Internet Explorer

  1. Click the gear icon in Explorer in the upper right corner
  2. Click “Internet options”
  3. Enter the address ps.medarbejdere.au.dk in the field
  4. Click OK

Google Chrome

  1. Click the three grey, horizontal dots in the upper right corner
  2. Click “Settings”
  3. Under “On startup”, mark “Open a specific page or set of pages” and specify ps.medarbejdere.au.dk/en as your starting page.
  4. Click OK

Why settle for one?

You can also choose to have more than one starting page. Follow the instructions above and simply specify more than one page.

Create a shortcut to the staff portal on your desktop

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Adapt the size of the window, so that you can see your computer’s desktop and the Firefox window on the same screen.
  2. Click the icon to the left of ps.medarbejdere.au.dk
  3. Drag the icon to the taskbar or the desktop to attach the page
  4. The shortcut will be created.

Internet Explorer

  1. Adapt the size of the window, so that you can see your computer’s desktop and the Explorer window on the same screen.
  2. Click the icon to the left of ps.medarbejdere.au.dk
  3. Drag the icon to the taskbar or the desktop to attach the page
  4. The shortcut will be created.

Google Chrome

  1. Open ps.medarbejdere.au.dk/en
  2. Click the three grey, horizontal dots in the upper right corner
  3. Click “More tools”
  4. Click “Add to desktop”
  5. Change the name of the shortcut if you wish and click “Add”.
