My name is Joris van der Voet, and in April and May I will be a visiting researcher at the Department of Political Science. I am an assistant professor in public management at Leiden University in The Netherlands, and my research interests concern organizational change, leadership and employee motivation in public organizations. My current research project is about organizational decline and innovation: does financial scarcity impede or stimulate innovation in local government organizations?
I am very excited to visit your department in these months (impressions so far: great coffee, nice offices!!). In particular, I am happy to work closely to researchers like Lotte, Anne Mette and Christian, whose work is and has been a great inspiration to me. You can find me in office 342. Feel free to walk by, because I would like to hear about the research project or paper you are currently working on.
Attached is a picture so that you can recognize my face (I left my suit and tie at home).
