My name is Signe Carlsen, and I started as a research assistant at the Danish Centre for Studies in Research and Research Policy (CFA) on 1 August 2022. My first tasks include participation in the impact assessment of ODIN and the interconnected research on private-public research partnerships and open science. Additionally, I will be working on the SUPER MoRRI-project where I will assist in qualitative analyses.

I hold a BSc and MSc in Political Science from Aarhus University, with the latter being completed in June 2022. During my Master’s, I have focused on mixed and interpretive methods as well as the sociological aspects of Political Science. I did my thesis on civic integration and habitual dispositions amongst teenage soccer players of ethnic minority origin. During my studies, I’ve worked part-time with research on Non-Formal Education and leisure activities.

In my free time, I enjoy travelling, hiking, reading and coffee drinking, and I spend time doing volunteer work. I look forward to meeting all of you.
