New assistant professor at CFA: Mathias Wullum Nielsen
Mathias Wullum Nielsen is a new assistant professor at CFA.
Mathias Wullum Nielsen is an assistant professor at the Danish Centre for Studies in Research and Research Policy (CFA). He is a sociologist by training and received his PhD in Social Science at Aarhus University. Nielsen spent the past two years as a postdoctoral fellow in Gendered Innovations at the Department of History, Stanford University.
Nielsen’s research interests include diversity in science, responsible research and innovation, research evaluation and computational social science. His current work focuses on how gender-related changes in science demographics and shifts in knowledge production are connected. Nielsen is also involved in the Horizon 2020-funded project NewHoRRIzon that aims to cultivate responsible research and innovation practices across Europe.
