I am very proud to announce that I am the new PhD-student at the CODE Project. My research relates to CODE Work Package A that regards tools for preventing violent conflict at the international level. Specifically, my project concerns targeted sanctions and their application in relation to conflict prevention and democratization. Jakob Tolstrup and Jørgen Møller supervise my project.

I am firstly a member of the Comparative Politics section. However, I am a firm believer of working across disciplines. I seek to draw on insights from international relations, public policy and sociology. My intention is to combine quantitative and qualitative methods with the former designated to take priority at the outset.

On a personal note, I have lived in Aarhus for most of my life. I have been fortunate to enjoy extended stays in Edinburgh, Brussels, Washington D.C. and Copenhagen. My interests include sports (skiing, running or football), the arts (film, modern art or drawing) and music (rock, blues or jazz). My drinks of choice are coffee or craft beer, depending on the setting.

I feel privileged to be a part of the research community at the Department of Political Science and look forward to getting to know all of you.
