05.04.2016 | Ingrid Marie Fossum

My name is Mette Bisgaard, and I am a new PhD student in the Public Administration section. I hold a BSc and MSc in Political Science from Aarhus University. Since I graduated in 2015, I have worked as a research assistant at The Danish National Center for Social Research (SFI). My main research interests are citizen-state interactions and more broadly behavioural public administration.

My PhD project is a part of the FSE-founded project “Visitation Rights and Discrimination against Fathers: Bias or a Myth?” My project focuses on potential gender differences in clients’ communication style, behaviour and public service efficacy when interacting with State Administration caseworkers. I will combine qualitative and quantitative methods. Vibeke Lehmann Nielsen and Lars Thorup will be supervising the project.

I look forward to meeting you all!
