Mark is a leading scholar on the evolutionary origins, functions, and psychological processes underlying leadership and followership in general but also with particular attention to politics and public settings. Mark has contributed much to our understanding of leadership selection processes, intergroup relations, and sustainability, and his work has been published in the most prestigious journals in the field. Mark’s impressive research agenda builds on a range of innovating methodologies from experimental psychology, social neuroscience, and behavioral economics to test evolutionary psychology hypotheses about human social behavior.
Mark has kindly agreed to give a talk on the topic of “The Naturally Selected Evolutionary Science of Leadership and Followership”.
